after surviving the salt mine tour, we were dropped off at the end of our street.
it was starting to get dark.

we walked around the city square for quite sometime.
we enjoyed coffee and dessert with monkey and dog.
we saw many impressive street performers.
this man looked like a real statue, but once we put money in his gold pitcher he came to life blowing his horn for us.
this made chad laugh and he had to get a picture of these psy pops!

the bread in this wagon was huge!
they also sold authentic cheeses.
they had almost any fruit you could image covered in chocolate.
even though the air was chilly, you could feel the excitement of this place.

there was even a cover band playing several well known american songs.
the hard rock was packed!

the night life around the square was very entertaining.
we tried sweet and savory pierogis.
matryoshka dolls were all around.
they had beautiful table linens for sale
i was tempted to buy some polish pottery. they were all so beautiful, but maybe too fragile to bring back as a souvenir.
there were a lot of fun colors at every booth.
of course, the mexican was still trying to get people inside his restaurant.
after witnessing some guy publicly urinating in the street,
we decided to call it a night and head back to our hotel room.
it was starting to get dark.

the large buildings still towered over us at night.
