we wake-up bright and early and get dressed in our layers not knowing what the weather will be like. the previous day was remarkably warm, especially when you are out commuting on foot, but it was also chilly when you weren't sweating.
we met stacy downstairs and sat with her in the restaurant.
chad's company included his breakfast with the stay; however, it was suggested that i buy my own. not wanting to purchase a breakfast every morning, i decided to secretly pick off his plate while breakfast was being served to see if i would even like what was served.
chad didn't have much of an appetite and doesn't normally eat a big breakfast this early in the morning. i, on the other hand, love breakfast and if i don't eat it i will end up feeling terrible. the food here is surprisingly wonderful! it is really fresh and delicious.

this was the same morning we found out about the fertilizer plant fire in west, texas. i originally saw information first on facebook, but later saw this footage while we were eating downstairs. it was crazy to see news about texas here in poland. we just couldn't read or understand what they were saying.

i decided to walk with chad and stacy to work because i wanted to know where the building was and meet all the people he will be working with. i actually enjoyed the walk because it is brisk in the morning and it feels great after such a filling breakfast.

i think chad looks great here, but he later told me he felt very nauseous during breakfast and our walk to work. he has a pretty nervous stomach, so i guess he was anxious about his first day training.

the walk is very beautiful. i will post pictures later on so everyone can see the many interesting things we looked at on the way.

but here we are arriving safe and sound at the building.

we rang the doorbell and waited for someone to let us in.
once inside, we met many different men who work for the company and who's names i will never remember, but everyone was very nice. they all introduced themselves to me even though i was merely the wife visiting.
we were offered tea and coffee and i selected their black current tea which has become my new favorite tea to drink. monkey and dog like it too.
the work kitchen shown behind them reminds me of charlie and lola's kitchen (a cartoon series that used to be on the disney channel). the girls and i loved watching the show and her whole lifestyle reminds me of what it is like here in poland. there is something so comforting to me about that.
after finishing my tea, i decided to take a photographic walk documenting the beautiful and even funny things around. i was actually looking forward to the relaxing task because i never get to do things like this anymore.
this was about as far as i got when i heard in the distance...
"crystaaaall...crystaaaall!"
i realized someone was calling my name and i slowly turned to see the warsaw office manager, jacek (yaw-sick), running towards me....

the buildings look old and rustic and the trees are huge and majestic.
